Freelancers HUB, Canada, accepts payments in CAD and USD via secure methods (credit card, bank transfer, PayPal, or Upwork). For retainer projects, payments are billed monthly in advance. Delayed payments beyond 10 days may incur a late fee of 2% per month.

2.1 Refund Policy

A 75% refund will be issued if the client provides written notice of cancellation within 5 days of the project start date. A 50% refund will be issued if written notice is provided within the first 15 days of the project start date. No refund will be provided after 15 days of project commencement. Refunds are not applicable once significant design, setup, or advertising work has been completed. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@freelancers-hub.ca.

2.2 Hourly Contracts

For hourly engagements, the following standard rates apply:

  • USD 25/hour or CAD 30/hour, depending on the client’s billing currency.

All hourly projects are billed weekly or bi-weekly based on tracked hours through approved tools (such as Upwork Time Tracker or Hubstaff, Freelancers HUB, Canada’s official time-tracking platform).

2.3 Additional Work

Any additional work outside the original scope will be invoiced separately. Charges will be calculated based on the timelog report generated in Hubstaff, and invoices will be issued in USD or CAD, depending on the client’s billing location and currency preference.

5. Service-Specific Clauses

5.1. SEO, SMM & PPC Services

These services require a minimum 3-month commitment from the client to ensure measurable results and campaign stability. Early cancellation before 3 months may result in forfeiture of any paid fees for the current billing cycle. SEO outcomes depend on several external factors (search engine algorithms, competition, etc.); specific rankings or traffic results cannot be guaranteed. All campaigns follow ethical, white-hat practices in compliance with Google and Meta advertising policies.

5.2. Web Design & Development

Projects include design, revisions, and launch support as outlined in the proposal. Any post-launch maintenance, hosting, or ongoing optimization is treated as a separate service.

5.3. Social Media Marketing

Freelancers HUB will manage content creation and scheduling as per the agreed plan. Client approvals are required before publication unless otherwise authorized.

6. Revisions & Communication

Minor revisions are included as per the package or proposal. Additional revisions or scope changes are billed separately. Communication channels include email, Zoom/Google Meet calls, or project management tools (Asana, Trello, etc.).

7. Limitation of Liability

Freelancers HUB, Canada, shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service use.
  • Loss of revenue, data, or reputation due to platform downtime or third-party tools.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by the client for the project in question.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with a 30-day written notice in advance. Notice must be sent by mail or email to info@freelancers-hub.ca. All outstanding invoices and dues must be settled before the termination date. For ongoing retainer projects (SEO, PPC, SMM), services will continue through the 30-day period following the notice to ensure proper campaign handover. Immediate termination may occur in cases of:

  • Breach of contract terms
  • Unethical activity or misuse of deliverables
  • Failure to comply with payment obligations
